The teaching transmitted by G. I. Gurdjieff, which has been called a "way in life," incorporates the wisdom of the great spiritual traditions in forms suited to the needs of contemporary
men and women.
The Gurdjieff Foundation of Oregon, affiliated with Gurdjieff Foundations throughout the world, fosters the study of the teaching as
carried forward under the guidance of Madame Jeanne de Salzmann and others. We explore conditions nurturing and clarifying an inner search.
To this end, we engage in activities including group meetings, sacred dance
and music, study of ideas,
practical work, and sitting practice.
This approach may coexist with many belief systems and levels of understanding. However, being an oral tradition,
it requires direct contact to begin. We welcome inquiries.
